Kylie Jenner grew up in front of cameras, built a beauty empire before most people finish college, and became a mother at just 20 years old. Now, as she moves through the final stretch of her twenties, she is looking back at everything that happened so quickly.
The 29-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder recently spoke with Who What Wear about young motherhood, postpartum depression, and the feeling that part of her youth disappeared along the way. Jenner loves being a mother, but she also admits that raising two children so early forced her into an adult life before she had much time to simply be young.
Her daughter Stormi was born in February 2018, when Jenner was 20 years old. Four years later, she welcomed her son Aire at age 24 with her former partner Travis Scott.
Kylie Jenner Says Motherhood Changed Her Twenties

Jenner / IG / Jenner explained that motherhood brought responsibilities that many people do not face until later in life. She was building major businesses while also adjusting to pregnancy and life with a newborn.
That pace left little room for the carefree experiences that often come with being in your early twenties. Jenner said she sometimes feels she missed part of that period because her life became serious so quickly.
“I feel like I lived such an adult life when I was young,” Jenner told Who What Wear. She said approaching 30 has made her think harder about the experiences she still wants to have. Her first pregnancy also happened while Jenner was already living under intense public attention. She had spent much of her childhood and teenage years appearing on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” which meant privacy was already difficult to find.
“I made a promise to myself at 25 that I was not going to have any more children right now,” Jenner said. She wanted the second half of her twenties to feel different from the first. The decision did not come from regret about becoming a mother. Instead, Jenner wanted space to reconnect with parts of herself that had been pushed aside.
Jenner Wants to Enjoy Life Before Turning 30

Jenner / IG / Turning 30 is clearly on Jenner's mind. She has repeatedly mentioned the milestone while discussing how she wants to spend the remaining part of her twenties.
The supermodel said she does not want to reach a later point in life and wonder why she avoided experiences that interested or challenged her. She now wants to take more chances without overloading her schedule.
However, that does not mean she plans to suddenly abandon the careful life she has built. Jenner remains highly protective of her children, privacy, and personal time. Instead, she wants to choose a small number of opportunities that genuinely excite her. She has become more thoughtful about deciding which projects deserve time away from Stormi and Aire.
Jenner recently appeared in Charli XCX's film “The Moment,” playing an exaggerated version of herself. The cameo gave Jenner a chance to test something outside her usual comfort zone. She admitted feeling nervous before filming, but the experience left her interested in doing more acting.
However, Jenner has not permanently closed the door on having more children. She has simply made it clear that another pregnancy is not part of her immediate plan. The beauty queen has spoken about how strange the idea feels after spending several years focused on Stormi and Aire. At this stage, becoming pregnant again feels like a major shift from the life she is trying to build.
Jenner has also expressed little interest in using a surrogate. That could change in the future, but her recent comments suggest she would strongly prefer a different path if she eventually decides to have another child.
